AltaDX Alternatives in 2026: Do You Need a Consultancy or a Platform?
AltaDX is a new name with a long history. It was formed in February 2026 when ALTA Technology Group merged with the fitness and wellness division of DXFactor, and it now sells two things at once: technology consulting for fitness, wellness and beauty brands, and a library of AI agents under the OMAP name.
Operators searching for AltaDX alternatives are usually trying to answer one question. Do we need a partner to run a technology programme for us, or do we need an AI product that our own team can run?
The short version
AltaDX is a technology and AI firm for fitness, wellness and beauty operators. Its services include software selection, software implementation, digital transformation, software administration and fractional customer experience support. It also operates OMAP, a platform of ten AI micro-agents covering member experience, staff productivity and revenue tasks. AltaDX is mainly North American, and in May 2026 it formed an alliance with UK-based LeisureLabs to coordinate services across EMEA.
Keepme Antares is an AI agent platform built only for fitness and leisure operators. It runs five specialist agents under one contract with every agent included: the sales agent, Nova; the voice agent, Clarion; the member services agent, Atlas; the AI search visibility agent, Beacon; and the retention agent, Ember. Pulse, the intelligence layer underneath, generates the Keepme Score for every prospect and member. Keepme has worked exclusively on AI for fitness operators since 2018.
If you want a consultancy to choose, implement and administer your software stack, AltaDX offers something Keepme does not. If you want AI agents that convert, serve and retain members across a multisite estate, with a shared view of every member, that is what Antares is built for.
Two different businesses
What AltaDX brings
AltaDX’s strength is breadth. Its team helps operators evaluate vendors, implement systems and run digital transformation projects, and its case studies include Planet Fitness, Sola Salons, Upgrade Labs and Fantastic Sams. The brands named at its launch span fitness, spas and salons, including Crunch Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, Chuze Fitness, Hand and Stone and Woodhouse Spas. It also runs the annual Fitness Technology Summit.
For an operator replacing a club management system or untangling a payments stack, that kind of hands-on partner can be exactly right.
What Keepme brings
Keepme sells one thing: AI agents for fitness operators, built on a shared foundation. Training, integrations and data setup happen once, through a structured two-phase, 20-day adoption journey, and every agent reuses them. There is no services engagement to scope and no change of team when the project phase ends.
That focus shows in the details. Every agent reads the same Keepme Score. Beacon addresses AI search visibility, a problem no other fitness vendor we have reviewed ships a product for. And Keepme sells into fitness and leisure only, so its roadmap is not shared with salons or spas.
Questions that separate the two models
Who owns the outcome after go-live?
Consulting-led models are strongest during a project. Ask what happens in year two, who maintains the agents, and whether ongoing optimisation is part of the subscription or a further services engagement.
Is the AI connected by a shared view of the member?
OMAP describes its agents as sharing “context” and handing off work, which is a real advantage over isolated tools. What OMAP does not publish is a predictive score for each member. On Antares, the Keepme Score is a 0 to 100 score that travels with every prospect from first enquiry and every member from join date, so agents can act on who is drifting, not just on who has asked.
When does retention start?
OMAP’s retention agent, Click2Save, “intercepts cancellations at the moment of intent”, offering compliant saves like a pause or downgrade. AltaDX’s earlier DXFactor cancel-and-freeze tool for ABC Ignite works at the same moment. Ember on Antares handles that conversation too, but it can also reach members weeks earlier, when the Keepme Score moves them into amber.
Do you need AI search visibility?
Keepme’s audit of 901 fitness operators across 27 countries found an average AI search readiness score of 21 out of 100. We found no AI search visibility product on getaltadx.com or omapagents.ai. Beacon is included on Antares when operators activate Nova.
Does your vendor serve your channels?
OMAP’s published channels are voice, chat, SMS and email. Antares also covers WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram, which matters for operators in Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, where WhatsApp is often the main member channel.
