OneXscale Alternatives: Pay-Per-Show Agency or Your Own AI Agents?
OneXscale and Keepme both use AI to follow up with gym leads, but they are not the same kind of business. OneXscale is a done-for-you acquisition service. Keepme Antares is an AI agent platform. Comparing them is really comparing two ways of buying growth: outsourcing your acquisition, or owning the AI that runs your member journey.
What OneXscale offers
OneXscale (OneXscale LLC, formerly ViceFutures) describes itself as running a gym’s entire client acquisition operation, designed, funded and run on the gym’s behalf. According to its website, it:
designs your offers, writes the scripts and produces the ads
funds paid ads, organic content and reactivation campaigns upfront
uses AI to respond to every lead in around 30 seconds and book appointments into your calendar
charges only when “a verified prospect walks through your door”, with no retainer or contract
works with one gym per city and takes on a limited number of new markets each month
offers a 30-day performance guarantee
The site says it was founded in 2023 by two founders. Its testimonials come from independent gym owners in the US, and its footer notes that “some numbers and metrics displayed on this website are used for illustrative purposes only and may not reflect actual client outcomes.”
For a single independent gym that wants someone else to run its advertising and follow-up end to end, that model has clear appeal. You carry little upfront risk, and the incentives are aligned around footfall.
What Keepme Antares offers
Keepme Antares is an AI agent platform for multisite fitness and leisure operators. It runs five specialist agents under one contract with every agent included:
The sales agent, Nova: responds to every inbound enquiry, follows up across channels and books tours and trials
The voice agent, Clarion: answers inbound calls 24/7 and routes conversations that need a human
The member services agent, Atlas: answers existing members’ questions across text and voice
The AI search visibility agent, Beacon: makes sure AI assistants can find and accurately describe your clubs
The retention agent, Ember: identifies at-risk members and handles cancellation conversations
Underneath, Pulse analyses every conversation and generates the Keepme Score, a 0 to 100 score attached to every prospect from first enquiry and every member from join date. Keepme has built AI exclusively for fitness operators since 2018.
Five questions that separate the two
1. Who owns the system?
With a done-for-you service, the offers, ads and AI run inside the provider’s operation. Ask what you keep if the arrangement ends. On Antares, the agents are trained on your brand, connected to your CRM and club management system, and the conversation history and scores stay part of your business.
2. Does it stop at the front door?
OneXscale’s model is built around one outcome: a prospect showing up. That is where Antares starts to compound. After someone joins, Atlas answers their questions, and Ember watches the Keepme Score for signs they are drifting and can step in weeks before they cancel. Acquisition alone does not protect the revenue you have already won.
3. Does it work across an estate?
OneXscale works with one gym per city. Antares is designed for multisite operators. Training, integrations and data are set up once through a structured two-phase, 20-day adoption journey, then rolled out site by site, and what Pulse learns at one club improves performance across all of them.
4. What happens with the leads you already generate?
Most established operators already have lead flow from their website, social channels, aggregators and referrals. The value is in converting it. Antares responds to every enquiry instantly across voice, SMS, WhatsApp, web chat, Facebook, Instagram and email, whatever the source, and books tours and trials without anyone on the phone.
5. Are you visible when prospects ask AI for a gym?
Prospects increasingly ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity to recommend a gym instead of clicking on an ad. Keepme’s audit of 901 fitness operators across 27 countries found a global average AI search readiness score of 21 out of 100, and 49 operators were blocking AI crawlers without knowing it. Beacon, included on Antares when operators activate Nova, closes that gap so your clubs appear in the answer.

If you need someone to create and fund your advertising, OneXscale does something Antares does not. Many operators run both kinds of support side by side: an agency or in-house team for media, and an AI agent platform for every conversation that media creates.
