Zenoti vs Keepme Antares: Replace Your Stack or Add AI to It?
Zenoti built its name in salons, spas and medspas, and in February 2026 it brought its AI-powered growth platform to gyms and clubs. Its AI Workforce, launched in September 2025, is one of the most complete agent line-ups in the wellness market.
So for a fitness operator, the comparison with Keepme Antares is not about who has AI. Both do. It is about one architectural choice: whether your AI has to live inside a new system of record, or whether it works on top of the systems you already run.
The core difference in one line
Zenoti’s agents run inside Zenoti. In its own words, its agents “live inside Zenoti”, not as add-ons or integrations. To use them, you run your scheduling, point of sale, payments and member records on Zenoti, and its AI agents require the AI Plus package.
Antares works the other way round. It connects to your existing CRM and club management system and updates them, so, as Keepme puts it, “your source of truth remains unchanged and your workflows stay intact.”
If you are already planning to replace your club management system, Zenoti deserves a close look. If you are not, that is the first question to settle.
What each offers fitness operators
Zenoti is a business management platform founded in 2010, used by more than 30,000 businesses, most of them in beauty and wellness. Its AI Workforce includes an AI Receptionist that answers calls 24/7 in 29 languages, an AI Lead Manager that contacts new leads within 90 seconds, an AI Retention Manager, an AI Digital Marketer for local SEO, an AI Dispute Manager for chargebacks and an AI Workout Builder for member programmes.
Keepme Antares is an AI agent platform built only for fitness and leisure operators, by a company that has worked on AI for fitness since 2018. It runs five specialist agents under one contract with every agent included: the sales agent, Nova; the voice agent, Clarion; the member services agent, Atlas; the AI search visibility agent, Beacon; and the retention agent, Ember. Pulse, the intelligence layer underneath, generates the Keepme Score for every prospect and member.
Where they are closer than you might expect
Zenoti is one of the few vendors in this space that also predicts churn. Its gym page says its retention AI “flags at-risk members 14+ days before cancellation”, before the request arrives, using machine learning on visit patterns, booking history and engagement. That is the same principle behind Ember on Antares, and operators should give Zenoti credit for it.
The differences are in scope and shape:
Lifecycle coverage. The Keepme Score starts at first enquiry, not at join date. Every prospect has a score from their first conversation, and it carries on with them as a member, so Nova can prioritise warm prospects and Ember can watch for drift using one continuous record.
Shared across agents. Every Antares agent reads the same score, so the voice agent, the sales agent and the retention agent all work from the same view of each person.
Fitness first. Zenoti’s AI Retention Manager page is written for salons, spas and medspas. Antares has only ever been built for gyms, health clubs and leisure operators.
Where they differ most
Your existing systems
This is the decisive factor for most multisite operators. Replacing a club management system across an estate means migrating members, payments and contracts, retraining staff and running two systems during the switch. Antares avoids that. Keepme’s adoption journey takes 20 days, and most setups need less than five hours of internal staff time.
Being found in AI search
Zenoti’s AI Digital Marketer audits visibility on Google, Yelp and Bing and manages listings. That is local SEO. It does not address how ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity describe your clubs when a prospect asks them for a recommendation.
Keepme’s audit of 901 fitness operators across 27 countries found a global average AI search readiness score of 21 out of 100, and 49 operators were blocking AI crawlers without knowing it. Beacon, included on Antares when operators activate Nova, closes that gap.
Messaging channels
Zenoti’s published AI channels are voice, SMS, email, push notifications and web. We found no confirmation that its AI agents work on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook Messenger. Antares covers voice, SMS, WhatsApp, web chat, Facebook, Instagram and email, which matters for operators in Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Payments and back office
Zenoti is ahead here, because it is the system of record. It includes native payments, a dispute manager for chargebacks and staff scheduling. Antares does not process payments or recover failed ones. If you want a single vendor for everything from booking to payroll, that is Zenoti’s strongest argument.

Proof from fitness operators
Zenoti’s fitness case studies are early. Elevate Fitness and Universal Athletic Club speak positively about its AI, but without published AI metrics, and the 34% churn reduction in its fitness launch release is not attributed to a named operator.
Keepme’s results are named and specific:
Anil Chugani, Managing Director, Fitness First Singapore: a 185% increase in lead-to-tour bookings, a 16% uplift in tour attendance and a 49% improvement in tour-to-sale conversion, achieved without any other major changes or investments.
Amy Schafer, National Sales Manager, Fitness Cartel: almost 60,000 conversations and about 450 tours booked out of hours in three months.
Antares runs at Virgin Active, Serco Leisure, Fitness First, Everlast Gyms, Gymbox, Next Gen, Chicago Athletic Clubs, Club4 Fitness, Active Wellness and Genesis Health + Fitness.
Three questions to settle first
Are we replacing our club management system anyway? If yes, compare Zenoti as a full platform. If no, ask how much of its AI you can use without switching.
Does our retention score start at enquiry or at join? A score that follows a person from first conversation gives every agent more to work with.
How will prospects find us in AI search? Local SEO and AI search readiness are not the same job.
